The 902 Aizumi uses ONI's proprietary Secret Denim — a 20-ounce loose-weave fabric that feels like 14-ounce denim from the first wear. The seemingly contradictory combination of heavy weight and soft hand comes from the low-tension weaving process on ancient shuttle looms that creates air pockets within the yarn structure.
The Aizumi variation adds a natural indigo top-dye over synthetic indigo, creating a depth of color and fading potential that standard single-indigo denim cannot achieve.
