Rockwell 6S Adjustable Stainless Steel Safety Razor

ELITE tier

The Rockwell 6S solves the exact problem that retires most safety razors: corrosion.

Origin

Made in USA

Warranty

Lifetime warranty covering manufacturing and cosmetic defects with free replacement, and — unusually — free replacement parts even for damage from neglect or misuse. Valid on units purchased through Rockwell or its official Amazon store; transferability is not explicitly stated.

Price

~$120 (Mid)

It is machined from solid 316L stainless steel — the marine-grade alloy used in surgical instruments — with no plating to chip and no zinc post to rot from the inside, the failure mode that kills plated and zamak razors within a few years. The three-piece design carries no springs, dials, or sealed mechanisms; adjustment is done by physically swapping three reversible base plates across six settings, and every one of those plates, plus the handle and cap, is sold individually as a spare.

Rockwell backs it with a lifetime warranty that replaces defective parts — and, unusually, will send free replacement parts even for damage caused by misuse. At $120 it is not a cheap razor, but the blades cost roughly fifteen cents each against $150 to $300 a year in cartridges; the tool pays for itself inside a year and then grinds down cartridge spending for decades.

A stainless razor with a lifetime warranty and no consumable finish is about as close to permanent as a daily-use object gets.
