The blade is VG-MAX super steel clad in 34 layers of stainless Damascus, producing a 16-degree cutting edge that holds longer than most Western knives at 20-22 degrees. The D-shaped ebony PakkaWood handle is contoured for a pinch grip and resists moisture absorption over years of use.
