The 4. 43-inch blade is CPM-S30V stainless steel, a premium powder metallurgy steel that holds an edge significantly longer than conventional stainless while remaining field-sharpenable with a diamond stone.
The full-tang construction runs through contoured green G10 handle scales secured with stainless steel Torx fasteners — replaceable, adjustable, and field-serviceable. The drop-point blade geometry with a flat grind excels at the three primary bushcraft tasks: batoning firewood, feathering tinder, and processing food.
The leather sheath with a Kydex insert provides both the aesthetic warmth of traditional carry and the retention security of modern materials. Benchmade's LifeSharp program is the defining BIFL feature: send the knife back at any time, and Benchmade will sharpen, clean, adjust, and return it for free, for life.
They also replace worn handle scales and lost hardware. At roughly $200, this is a knife backed by one of the strongest lifetime service commitments in the industry.
The S30V steel and full-tang engineering mean it will still be functional decades from now. Benchmade makes knives for people who use them hard.
