The 10995 set covers fifteen metric sizes from 1. 27mm to 10mm, including the in-between sizes most generic sets skip.
Every key is forged from Protanium high-torque steel — Bondhus's proprietary alloy that tests roughly 20 percent stronger than standard 8650 with twice the wear resistance — and finished with their ProGuard chrome plating that resists the rust and pitting that ruin lesser sets in a humid garage. The ball end engages cap screws at angles up to 25 degrees off-axis, which is the difference between reaching a recessed bolt and pulling apart half an assembly to access it.
The hex end is precision-ground for full-flat contact under torque so the key drives the fastener instead of rounding it. Bondhus's lifetime warranty is unconditional — broken keys are replaced without paperwork.
At roughly $25 for the complete metric set, the cost-per-year across a thirty-year working life is well under one dollar. Buy them once.
