Its hot-swap sockets accept any Cherry MX-compatible switch, so a chattering or unresponsive key is a sixty-second fix with no soldering iron: pull the old switch, press in a new one, and the board is back in service. The 65% layout keeps arrow keys and navigation within a compact footprint, and the doubleshot PBT keycaps hold their legends in a molded second layer that will not fade.

Genuine Cherry MX switches sit on a dampened three-layer case tuned to eliminate hollow ping and rattle. The detachable USB-C cable is user-replaceable, closing off another common point of failure.

Ducky has built keyboards in Taiwan for fifteen years, and its earlier One-series boards routinely pass the ten-year mark. The two-year warranty is short for the category, but hot-swap construction is what actually protects the investment, since no single component failure can retire the board.

At roughly $110 over fifteen years, the cost runs near seven dollars a year. Few keyboards are this genuinely repairable at this price.
